first thing first, stop model from moving. make it a button toggle, just make it stop. i see value in immersion, but working on moving model is nightmare. i'm quite surprised anyone thought it would be good idea to have moving model while customizing.
high shaders are very slow. i used low shaders for modeling and most choices, then high shaders to see result. would it be possible to get "render" button that shows snapshot with high shaders?
right-menu pickers are fiddly. scrolling gets mixed up with model rotation. selection doesn't work always. color pickers are too small. some choices don't have obvious differences (male lips and eye line choices, i think).
hair/beard thumbnails would be better with side (or mostly side) view.
hair model missing. more diverse hair cuts choices needed. long hair for male. both full beards feel unkempt. also, all facial hair seem shorts or there is model missing.
no body hair? feels odd. tho, in combination with thin wrists, i always put long sleeves, so it doesn't bother me much. but if you want (as it appears) to have realistic models then there should be more body hair.
wrists feel thin. long sleeves on jacket are poor fix. at least make some handcoms, gloves or bracers.
glasses don't get removed by cloth toggle. also, i suppose glass models are placeholders.
bottom/feet tucking option for male would be appreciated.
modeling options are sparse. no way to modify cranium. eyes should have more options (rotation, size). above and under lips could use a mod handle. ease up on hardcoded features (Amarr and Vherokior). horizontal/vertical scale on ears possible? chin types. forehead height/width.
high heels. any chance that there will ever be choice to have female without high heels?
also, height/weight. arm/leg/torso length. at least universal model scale (+/-5%).
pics, as it did happen: Achura Female Amarr Male Brutor Male Civire Male Deteis Female Gallente Male Intaki Male Jin-Mei Female Khanid Male Ni-Kuni Female Sebiestor Male Vherokior Female
edit: typo; picture show client/server side differences; some client picture are low shader edit2: some hair/color choice were NOT intended :) ________________________________ : Forum Bore 'Em : Foamy The Squirrel - [jedi handwave] "There is no spoon." |

it worked in editor as tucking option on robes. in server side picture it's omitted. ________________________________ : Forum Bore 'Em : Foamy The Squirrel - [jedi handwave] "There is no spoon." |

Amarr Caldari Gallente Minmatar
some interesting results: Ni-Kuni Female, Civire Male, Deteis Male, Gallente Male, Brutor Male. also, Brutor Female has very variable face. well done.
generally, no way to make females "fat". everyone looks athletic even with weight on max. photo-realism is very nice, but variety is lacking. more handlers, please. let me mess with those eyes and chins:) ________________________________ : Forum Bore 'Em : Foamy The Squirrel - [jedi handwave] "There is no spoon." |

an idea:
Bloodline slider: defines how hardlocked are bloodline features; or link it to age, where older characters get more pronounced racial features. ________________________________ : Forum Bore 'Em : Foamy The Squirrel - [jedi handwave] "There is no spoon." |

As stated before it was impossible to rebuild the char with the same dark skin color. While creating the char the eyebrows attract my attention. Take a look at the old char with the fine curved female brows. Then look at the new char - the brows are typical male and not female. Unfortunately there is no way to change them. ...
eyebrows are under hair options. ________________________________ : Forum Bore 'Em : Foamy The Squirrel - [jedi handwave] "There is no spoon." |

pod pilots are only human. they have as much chance to be fat as anyone else. and don't forget all the station traders that probably spend more time outside of the pod. i'd really love to see some Jabba-fatness around. it's sci-fi, after all. ________________________________ : Forum Bore 'Em : Foamy The Squirrel - [jedi handwave] "There is no spoon." |
